We welcome nonfiction, creative writing, visual art, audiovisual materials, and performance art from students and faculty in Hawaiian Studies courses and affiliated with Native Hawaiian student organizations. Work submitted should be under 3000 words, or ten minutes. For longer works, feel free to query us to present an idea.
We are also looking for lesson plans and educational materials from educators.
We particularly encourage work in Hawaiian (with or without English translation), multilingual work that incorporates Hawaiian and/or other Pacific languages, and work by queer Pacific Islanders, though none of these are absolute requirements for submissions in this category.
